Entrepreneurial thinking, inertia, and creativity – That is what the 24HourBusinessGame is mostly about. It is your chance to become active and innovative in creating a business plan of your own idea. Anything is possible as long as you make it realistically applicable.
On the 14th and 15th of November this years’ 24HourBusinessGame will take place. Starting in the Creative Factory, where the process of writing your business plan will happen, the final preparation and presentations will be followed in another location, yet to be determined. The idea of this entrepreneurial event is to assist ambitious students to pursue their business idea, and finally present it to a jury that will select and reward the winner. Generally speaking, the teams can consist of only a single person or a maximum of three people that during the entire 24hours will be supervised by professionals from the business or entrepreneurial environment. Due to the complexity of transforming a business idea into a complete business plan the supervisors are intended to give students some inside knowledge of what to focus on and how to put their ideas and concepts into the right format and structure. Another essential factor is the pitching workshop, which will take place towards the end of the 24HourBusinessGame. In this workshops the participants are not only taught how to give a presentation but also how to convince people of their business idea.
By attending the 24HourBusinessGame students gain relevant experience as an entrepreneur and are able to improve their communicative skills extensively. Furthermore, they have the chance to be given some professional opinion and advice of establishing a business plan, being a valuable experience for the future. Students get the opportunity to finally apply their theoretical knowledge into a real world organization of their idea. During the event students are surrounded by entrepreneurial thinkers and are able to exchange opinions and thoughts, and meet new people.
