Over the last few years, Shell’s HR function has been transformed as a result of the Group’s strategic realignment.  The results of this transformation are HR’s functionalisation, the standardization of its processes and the emergence of a single global HR system.  This in turn has resulted in increased levels of accountability, more involvement at a strategic level and the strengthening of a single HR community across the Group.

The function has three dimensions.

-          ‘HR in the Business’ refers to the HR function providing business partnership within individual business areas.

-          ‘Central HR’ has become the centre of HR expertise for the entire community.

-          ‘HR Services’ focuses on cost effective delivery of HR transactional activities

Presentation NVP Young Professionals (in Dutch)

De Nederlandse Vereniging voor Personeelsmanagement & Organisatieontwikkeling (NVP) is hét netwerk voor P&O Professionals. Speciaal voor aankomende en startende P&O professionals tot 30 jaar heeft de NVP de sectie Young Professinoals (NVP-YP) in het  leven geroepen. Ongeacht of je student bent of al bent begonnen op de arbeidsmarkt, NVP-YP geeft je toegang tot het enorme NVP netwerk.

Als NVP-YP ondersteunen wij de HR beroepsgroep door kennis en ervaring binnen en buiten de vereniging toegankelijk te maken. Als platform voor ontmoetingen en kennisuitwisseling dragen wij bij aan een verdere professionalisering van onze leden.
